About Oregon Manufactured Housing Association
Supporting homeownership across Oregon.
Since 1968, OMHA has helped connect Oregonians with attainable housing solutions through education, industry partnerships, and consumer resources.
About Us
Founded in 1968, the Oregon Manufactured Housing Association (OMHA) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to educating Oregon’s homebuyers about modern, precision-built manufactured housing and promoting manufactured homes across the Beaver State.
The members of OMHA are dedicated to providing safe, affordable, high-performance homes to individuals and families in communities throughout Oregon. OMHA supports our members with training, continuing education, and timely information—ensuring that the people who design, build, install, sell, and finance manufactured homes have access to the best industry practices available.
Manufactured housing is an important source of affordable housing for 22 million households across the country. The factory-built housing industry produces about 90,000 homes a year and contributes around $2.6 billion to the U.S. economy. Approximately 10% of new homes are built in a factory. Here in Oregon, the supply of affordable, quality housing is shrinking. Modern, manufactured homes offer a solution for Oregon residents seeking a path to sustainable homeownership for their families.

The OMHA Mission
The Oregon Manufactured Housing Association (OMHA) is dedicated to educating Oregon’s homebuyers and policymakers about attainable, high-performance manufactured housing. OMHA supports our members with training, information, and industry events to deliver the best industry connections and practices to the thousands of individuals who design, build, sell, finance, insure, transport, and install the Beaver State’s most affordable precision-built homes.

Advocacy in Action
To the Oregon Manufactured Housing Association, advocacy is defined as the promotion of housing policies and the support of housing initiatives that allow access to the affordable housing market across the State of Oregon. OMHA collaborates with housing industry stakeholders, Oregon State legislators, State housing agencies, and other identified community stakeholders to facilitate housing solutions that are affordable, financeable, and sustainable to develop.
Our staff is engaged in all aspects of the housing industry’s education initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy efforts, working to ensure Oregonians and housing decision-makers recognize the vital role manufactured housing plays in creating affordable homeownership opportunities. By keeping advocacy a priority and our members informed and active, we are working toward a future where homeownership is an achievable reality for all. Whether you are an industry partner directly impacted by legislation or an individual who shares our vision for supporting the homeownership dreams of Oregonians, we invite you to support and contribute to the OMHA PAC.
